Swag: anything thought to be cool or anyone thought to carry themselves in a way thought to be sexy/cool. That about sums up this piece. I painted it after coming back from seeing the Basquat exhibit at the Brant Foundation for the Arts in NYC. I loved the freedom of Basquiat's work, the markings, the color, the energy. It inspired me to "let loose" with the canvas and see what happened. I'm glad I did.
