This is a special piece that has a piece of downtown New Orleans incorporated into it. One fall morning, we were walking in the neighborhood of the studio when we came across this piece of metal that was once part of an old theaters facade. The building had been renovated and some of the salvaged metal and wood was outside. We got a little bit of the history on it and permission to take it and the rest is history! Redox is the name given to the oxidation reduction reaction that makes rust on old metal. Since it came from downtown, I thought Downtown Redox was a fitting tribute.
